| Hearing their positive comments for Melancholia, I found myself thinking, "At least VonTrier was TRYING to do something artistic and beautiful. Maybe I shouldn't have been so strident in analyzing the plot and themes. Maybe I should have turned my brain off and enjoyed the pretty visuals..."
