I've played a shitload of shooters between the release of mw2 and 3, and I would have to say one thing this series still does better than all the others besides presentation is the shooter elements themselves. there are a lot of other shooters out there where things just don't feel right, maybe because I have been spoiled by the cod series. everything about how the weapons feel, how the kick operates, reloading animations, controls in general, moving between setpieces and large open battles, constant variety so no mission goes on too long or gets too stale, it's pretty impressive
everything else in the game is either mediocre or outright sucks |
