Travel to the past, that is.

Basically it's like speaker feedback. Ambient radiation in the present would enter the wormhole and end up in the past. With more radiation in the past, more radiation would then enter the wormhole again in the present in a constant feedback loop. Eventually the energy cycling through the wormhole would become so powerful that it would tear the wormhole apart.

"Traveling" to the future by slowing yourself down from entering near-C speeds or traveling close to a gravity well is still possible, albeit one-way.
