So, I was in the Superdome last night. What a beatdown. Actually, I think (from my seats... and they were plenty high up) that no team in the playoff hunt misses an injured player more than than the Giants miss Ahmad Bradshaw. They kept feeding the ball to Brandon Jacobs, and while he was able to bowl over a couple would-be tacklers, the Giants looked like a team in need of a shiftier runner. But that was an absolutely killer performance by Drew. To watch him juke out of a sack on one play, to watch him run it into the end zone, to see his accuracy in person, God. The guy puts on a clinic. It was also fun attempting to explain the "who dat" chant to my gal. QUESTION FOR LOCALS: she asked, "Who was the first person to come up with that chant?" I told her John Fourcade. Is there EVEN an answer to that question? ICJ |
