| As I hit the 100 hour mark I swam across the river to kill the final guy for the Dark Brotherhood quest chain, the guy on the boat. I'm pretty sure it was while I was in the water the game decided it had been to easy to that point, or too hard, depending on how you view what came next. I sneak over the back of the boat, past each guard, making my way to the target's room. As I step in the doorway, a bit of voice acting starts up...this is going to be a long one, I can just tell. I look at the target with his stupid yellow robe and his retarded beard and I wished I could be stabbing him in the face right now. I wish he would just die so I can finally turn the game off and go play Saints Row 3 before the SWTOR beta starts up Friday.
A roar cut out the sound of his voice, a single claw came in from the ceiling, grabbing the target around the waist and flinging him against the wall behind me, stuck up by the ceiling, instantly dead. The quest completion message popped up and I left the boat, swam quickly over to the shore and finished off the dragon the game had delayed sending for me on my way to the boat in the first place. I wish I had fraps running the whole 100 hours just for that one 30-second bit, a perfect end to a fun and otherwise bug-free time. It was so perfect it may as well have been scripted. /jeep/ |
