Crying about "trigger words" was fucking stupid. You can't control what other people write on the Internet, and the sooner all of mankind realizes that, the better off we'll all be. "Trigger words" is just pieces of shit trying to control other people (who may very well be pieces of shit themselves!) on a medium where there is no control.
That being said, the PA crew (meaning bald, pigliek and their biz guy) were wrong about absolutely everything they did, have done, and will do regarding this issue. They were stupid, selfish and incompetent. They delighted in trolling their audience and they practically jacked off at the extra attention. They were unfunny about it and then unfunnier than they normally are. It proved that their charity is a laughable tax evasion system to them and nothing further. They deserved to "lose business" and people were right to stop going to their expo, which was nothing but a ripoff of E3 anyway.
Bald considers himself the finest writer since Shakespeare, so he was just thrilled he had the extra pageviews. The other one is the fucking psychopath. Let's say someone tells you that a prominent web cartoon creator is a serial murderer. Would anyone be surprised if it was Krahulik? Of course not. The guy got picked on every day of his life, and deservedly so, and this broken faggot is now gonna take it out on the rest of the world till the day he dies. Weep for his children.
I don't want to let PA off the hook. They're horrible fucking people. But web comic fans are also to blame here. Fuck, draw marginally better than a fourth grader and update every three days and these fucking Mass Effect fans will throw gobs of cash at you. They will click on all your ads, drink all your mangosteen. They are the ones enabling all this. They are the ones giving those two douchebags a platform. |
