There's the scene with Walt spinning the gun on the garden table, looking pretty resigned after the first two spins. On the third spin, however, the gun ends up pointing at some garden plant, and it seems to give him an idea. The next time we see him, just before Jesse arrives to talk about Brock, he looks more defiant than before.

The "Walt did it" scenario also provides purpose to Walt seeing Andrea and Brock in the previous episode, and it fits in with the character development arc that we've been seeing.

Still implausible as fuck, though.
