There was also a duplicate in BttF3 by Last 08/15/2011, 8:04am PDT In 1885, Doc puts a damaged Delorean in a cave for a hundred years so that Marty can find it in 1985 and come rescue him. Marty goes back to rescue him and runs out of gas. At this point in 1885 there's two Deloreans - one that Doc recently put in a cave and one that Marty arrived in.
