I never played Harvester. It was probably terrible, like every 1996 adventure ga by Jerry Whorebach 05/31/2011, 4:59pm PDT
Conversely, Tranquility Lane was easily my favourite quest in Fallout 3, even though (precisely because?) it only took me ten minutes to solve.*

*As soon as I got my first assignment, I was all like PSH I WON'T TAKE ORDERS FROM A LITTLE GIRL and started looking for alternate solutions (hope springs eternal). The next person I talked to told me there was a crazy lady around, and not being new to fiction I intuitively understood that in a world gone mad, the only sane people will be the crazy ones - manic depressives, coprophages, social phobics, etc. She pointed me towards the abandoned house with its handful of "interactive" hotspots, each producing a different "puzzle solving" tone when I clicked on them. Five minutes of brute force later and I'd brought the whole thing crashing down. Hooray for video games!
