One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest + The strange parts of Brazil + a Zack Snyder film = Sucker Punch.
It's not a mind-blowing story or anything but the costumes, action choreography, and CG were well done. Just know what you're walking into when you buy the tickets. Also it features a Samurai with a minigun. The 3rd action sequence featuring the dragon is probably the weakest part of the movie. Also they seem to have cut like 13 minutes of dangerously adolescent exotic dancing from the movie in order to get a PG-13 rating, but Zack's already bragging that all of that shit can be found on the uncut Blu-Ray edition. |
