Why would anyone want to read anyone's undergrad thesis ever? by Hans Clastorp 12/22/2010, 11:11am PST
Guess the publishing industry must be in trouble or something, because they sure are raping the shit out of DFW's corpse. Can't see this being a good move though because I'm right in the bullseye of the target audience for this kind of thing, like I have an advanced degree in philosophy (WITTGENSTEIN) and I've read everything DFW ever wrote, most more than once, and I have exactly zero interest in this. I couldn't even make though that article.

I guess he's the last big literary phenom, so the industry needs to milk it because who knows when the next one will come along. He really was one of the major talents of the 20th century.
