Is all the nurses and doctors who've come by to see me in person and shake my hand because they didn't think I was gonna make it 5 or so days ago. "Do I know you?" "You don't remember me but I did this and that to help save your life. We didn't think you were gonna live!" "I helped drill the hole in your head!" (To measure my ICP, yeah you know me. (Intra-cranial pressure, not insane clown posse.) See also: JFK guy from Bubba Hotep. :D )
If I'd bought a farm, I'd have never been any wiser. For me it was like a car accident in a way. I got sick and then suddenly my liver failed, apparently. For lots of other people, it was the tensest few days of their lives wondering if I was gonna live or die. Not just family either! The outpouring of well wishers was really amazing. I was overcome with the enormity of it all today. I'm certainly glad to be alive!
So I'm pretty excited to be able to do karaoke or something this Christmas. I'm a good singer, you guys! |
