CONCLUSION: Splinter Cell peaked with Chaos Theory. It is still the best Splinter Cell game ever made.
I'd never played any of them before Conviction, but I'm playing Chaos Theory now and I can see why people who played this first and Conviction later would be disappointed by Conviction. CT is much more sneaky than Conviction (at least, the lighthouse level is more sneaky than the mansion level and that's as far as I've played).
So, I get your point.
Another point, though, is that if someone played Conviction first and Chaos Theory second then they would enjoy them both for slightly different reasons. I'm sure this point applies all the teeming negative one individuals that A.) played Conviction first and B.) read this site. |
