The "defense shield" is a giant, massive running joke and has been ever since it was a half-cocked abortion of an idea dreamed up by Reagan's frenzied, swiss-cheese brain. Billions of dollars spent and not ***ONE*** successful test against dummy missiles that have a fraction of the maneuverability of a real missile. I enjoy getting a laugh out of the most recent excuse for the abysmal, overpriced piece of shit's not working, however. THE MISSILE WOULD HAVE BEEN INTERCEPTED FINE IF OUR COMPUTERS HAD ALL HAD WINDOWS XP SP1, BUT WE FORGOT TO TURN AUTOMATIC UPDATES ON AFTER OUR IT GUY NEWDRIVED THE NEW LEASED DELLS. |
