The last hundred strips, give or take, summarized:
* People learn to serve/prepare coffee. This is presented as difficult.
* The shy girl goes on a date the ladies' man, only to discover the ladies' man is pining for the fat, obnoxious blob. This takes about 80 strips. One of the strips involves them gazing at the stars, saying "herp" and "derp."
* The nerd girl hangs out with a lesbian . The lesbian wants to fuck her so bad, despite the fact that the nerd is a revolting subhuman. The fact that they don't even make out warrants an apology from the cartoonist.
* The fat, obnoxious blob makes out with the nerd boy. Also everyone saw her underwear. This is a big deal.
A central element to the break-up is that Martin-with-tits suspects that Martin wishes that he had gotten together with the obnoxious blob.
I just realized that QC's weird conceit that we are supposed to love Faye reminds me of how in The Room we are supposed to find (the at best plain) Lisa unbelievably beautiful. |
