This game gave me a fucking upper eye twitch that won't go away by Fortinbras 11/10/2010, 8:44pm PST I spent nearly 60 hours with 12 hours of sleep in between playing the shit out of this. ME2 only gave me 20-30 hours (also sleepless) and was far more scripted in terms of my choices to affect the course of the game. In addition I thought Mass Effect 2 in a couple of respects (lack of exploration, missions feeling much more linear) was a step backwards from the original. It's a tough call, but in terms of pure addiction and inability to walk away, I say New Vegas.
