I remember repeatedly finding some cheap, unexpectedly effective method, unique to whichever fight I was in, for damaging the enemy without much risk to myself. Like, ignoring the super-hard-to-use hiding places in the gun store and just pecking at the guy with my nailgun from outside the door, or herding all three enemy snipers into one little room and then ridiculously chasing them all with a board while they fled like gazelles. Heck I think I won the final battle with unanswerable jumpkicks from the level below the bad guy, or some such nonsense. I felt like I was cheating in every fight, and that was awkward and weird, but I enjoyed solving the (unintentional?) puzzle of finding the one cheap tactic that would work.
These ones in the second game sound pretty crappy though. :( |
