This stupid game, which is like Manhunt with a giant teady bear, has been getting non-stop fucking coverage at Kotaku, at least an article a month since December of 2009. Every fucking video the developer released was featured, then the dumb viral videos they did were featured. It's bad enough they can't keep bear suits where they belong (in port, nws), now they're shilling the mobile version.
Well I guess it may take Kotaku reader's nearly a year to finally call bullshit, but at least they have.

Artificial Mind and Movement's murderous mascot goes mobile, as Naughty Bear hacks and slashes his way into the iTunes App Store.
Fresh from a relatively popular Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title and a few Halo: Reach cameos, Naughty Bear is back and smaller than ever. Artificial Mind and Movement brings the pugilistic plushie to the iPhone and iPod Touch, giving on-the-go gamers a chance to murder their way through 30 levels across four locations.
As in the console versions, Naughty will take his vengeance out on his fellow bears using a wide variety of weapons and traps. The one significant change is a new top-down perspective, zooming in when things get brutal.
"In the last six months Naughty Bear has captured the imagination of a very wide fanbase and very quickly become an icon within the gaming world and a beacon for the disenfranchised and the disgruntled everywhere," said Tim Woodley, head of global brand management, 505 Games. "With the launch of the iPhone version, Naughty Bear fans can finally, and quite literally, take matters into their own hands."

No, it hasn't. Not even close. Your game was a disaster and a perfect example of how NOT to make or market a game. Stop trying to make that lame bear an icon or meme. It isn't going to happen. It barely (or should I say bearly YEAH) sold 80,000 copies in the US. For a retail, boxed game, that is dismal sales.

Actually, it's generally accepted to be a pile of shit. |
