It delivers on the simulated lifestyle of a jrpg vendor, with a bonus zelda dungeon crawl that puts recent AAAish attempts like 3d Dot Heroes to shame. It's also better than any current gen console JRPG I can think of, offhand. You level as a merchant so you can sell better shit to your hired adventurers, who then employ that equipment in order to further enrich you. It's a thinly veiled metaphor for Halliburton and Iraq, but not delivered in the bullshit manner that the Jonathan Blows of this world would have chosen. Positive!

I do recommend that you play with a controller, but I guess those of you that have issues with that will have no problem adapting. Just realize that by default z does what you would expect enter to do.
