Itagakis saying that everything new added to Tekken 4 was done poorly. And it was. Dumb characters and shoddy levels are one thing, faggot fucking infinite juggles on the walls are another. How do you miss that? The jap playtesters may have been too honorable to conceive ever doing it to each other, but the assholes here sure aren't.

So he says Tekken 5 isn't so good and its competition is pretty much universally better. Duh. What he SHOULD be saying is that tekken fans are whiny faggots who just want something pretty to stare at as they pound buttons, or execute finger mind games if the other term makes you weepy.

The series has always pretty much been Virtua Fighter: for kids! which is fine because VF is boring and hard and the payoff for a fingerbreaking g-cancel stun palm o doom whatever is like 2 frames of animation. But tekken usually does a better job of keeping up with its older, better brother. So they fuck up the walls (badly) and most of the arenas and made some combos less easy in the last game, boo hoo. Instead of just polishing it up for the next release, they yank it all out and give us a better looking tekken 3. Because people played and bought Tekken 3 right? So BFF again?
