| Fieldrunners is a tower defense game for the iPhone. For $1.99 you get 3 open rectangular maps with no paths or obstacles, and must defend against 100 rounds of enemies per map to win.
How to Play Use the 4 available towers to create an impenatrable fortress and destroy all the enemies before they can reach your base. Once you complete this around round 20, put your phone down and let the game play itself while you go do something actually fun for 80 rounds. Forget about your phone for 6 hours, then return to make a phone call and find it drained of its battery. Angrily delete Fieldrunners after you plug your phone back in because it sucks. Additional features: -You have access to one map at the start. You must unlock additonal maps by reaching round 50 on the previous one. -Unlockable¹ fast-forward option. Per map. At round 75. -something something online learderboards something This is the first game I've tried on a mobile phone. I saw it getting rave reviews and being declared one of the best on the iPhone. I guess I won't waste anymore time on mobile gaming. ¹What the fuck? |
