SC2 jump jets - effectively grants a pseudo-flight that allows the unit to traverse cliffs and other terrain features. Makes sense to be used automatically since it is a passive ability. (this is what I've gathered from reading about it)
DoWII jump jets - grants a leap ability at the cost of energy that allows assault marines to close quickly with ranged units and knock over units upon landing, which throws units out of cover, de-sets up heavy weapons, and exposes the disrupted unit to further ranged or melee attacks. A clicky ability that very fucking obviously should be left to the player's discretion as to when it should be used. |
