I'd like to apologize to Tom, Dave, Anax, and anyone else I offended in this thread by being too caustic, which is an issue with me as everyone knows. I got carried away, because that is what I do most of the time.That is not to imply that I have changed my opinion on anything that we have discussed in this thread, just that I realize that a lot of what I said was uncalled for.

And although I'm fairly certain that nothing I did or said led to the banning of several of my friends, it is difficult for me not to feel responsible in some way since I drove this thread straight into a flaming brick wall.

I hope that none of the bans are permanent and that maybe all of these people will someday be allowed to return. We all say and do things we regret, and if we do not then we are blind to our own shortcomings. I'd hope that nobody has to pay a permanent penalty for words exchanged in anger, frustration, or any other strong emotion.
