| Did you know there is a belt higher than the black belt? It is the red belt, and only the greatest martial artist in the world may wear it. Redbelt is the story of ex-U.S. soldier Mike Terry and his quest to become the ultimate warrior, which will take him from his dojo in LA to the historic LA octagon. Here is my theory: David Mamet bought a bunch of unproduced scripts from Menahem Golan, and he's been filming them one at a time for the last ten years. I think it's fucking awesome that the guy who wrote Glengarry Glen Ross is now making movies exclusively about Martial Arts and Delta Force and of course they're all terrible. Watch for a surprise twist near the end! (SPOILER: it was all a con!) | ||||
