| well so there i was king of the castle cock of the walk it is my place and i own everything in it. i can do what i like. even play Chang.
i mean sure Chang is a very important character to Aqua, so this might have been awkward, but Aqua isn't there. only Sofia is. though Sofia had not brought Mifune, she HAD brought another cast member from the same series - one of Chang's canonical love interests (people who ship Mifune/Chang have wayyyy more daddy issues than i can count (lol hi Aqua); Mifune's canon lover is a young american girl, Gladys.) the canonical love interest is a fun trolly member of the local mafia in estonia, let us call him Szeged because i like hungary better. so Szeged/Chang is a very nice pairing, and i know for a fact that Sofia prefers to play Szeged, it's just that her Mifune was so (rightly) famous and in-demand. and when i play Chang it's a very different take on the character than Aqua's - less uke bullshit, more quiet malice. the dynamic is wonderful. the first Szeged/Chang thread is tracked by every yaoi fan in the community. a rare example of two players perfectly aligned in their natural strengths. and Szeged is generally well-loved throughout the comm; his appreciation for tits and ass and his totally straightfaced egotism plays very well with this crowd. well enough that, like i said, Sofia was constantly in demand and lavished with attention. for that matter, my Chang is received well, especially for my willingness as a player to indulge some of the more rare and difficult kinks. it gets so that NDD's Sexbutt is Sofia's favorite place to play. also so that the Szeged/Chang threads would always be mentioned on anon memes as Everyone's Favorite Thread and blah blah canon done right whatever. while my personal connection with Sofia remained under the radar, we talked constantly of our plans for the community and her characters and so on and so forth. Sofia you are my star player and i couldn't be more pleased; though i hope someday you will bring us Mifune. so i told her. not for me, you understand, it's for the crew. they love that stuff. Sofia says to me one day: so, i made an account for Mifune. oh Sofia that's wonderful, i'm so excited. i really was, too. (NOTE: it was not unjustified. within two hours of Mifune's first post to the community chat had exploded with worship and someone had already made an anime music video for him. i myself flipped some paid time onto the account. such is love in this world.) oh Sofia that's wonderful, i'm so excited. and flattered. and uh at this point i was swept away with the success of my many schemes, enraptured by having secured this trophy for my comm, and of course volubly grateful to Sofia ...and uh you know... if Aqua ever wants to come play at NDD's Sexbutt, she's welcome. i know she and i had some problems in the past but she's your friend, and Sofia's friends can have anything they want from me. i'll give her a wide berth. really, i will steer clear of her completely. Sofia was in transports of grateful joy at this. oh god ndd seriously? i've thought about this before but i thought it would be so rude to you and... jeez well thank you, i'll let her know. thank you. i felt like such a champ after that, caltrops! i really felt like i'd done this so-grownup thing and was being such a selfless friend. |
