No, they don't look any better. They look worse. They look much, much worse. "Motion Sports"? "The Biggest Loser"? I know that this is not why J Allard resigned. But this should be why he quit. He should have quit because of the Natal launch titles, even though it wasn't strictly his problem or responsibility. The people who created Natal should quit because of those terrible titles. People who have nothing to do with video games ought to tender their resignation from the packing plant because of how shitty a lineup that is. And the people making these miserable games should have their studios closed the instant the publisher decides to not pay for a patch, but that's almost definitely going to happen anyway. :(
How fucking hard was it to release:
1) Car game where you MIME STEERING (maybe they already have that)
2) An arcade-perfect port of Police 911
3) An arcade-perfect port of one of the million versions of Dance Dance Revolution
4) Star Wars Lightsaber Game
5) bombMexico's Beat The Shit Out Of People Fighting Game
6) Pretend to be an NFL quarterback football game. Or pretend to play in a baseball game.
There, six launch titles that aren't immediately terrible and it cost me $0 to put the proposal together, saving money which might be used to get an even BETTER name than "Kinecticis."
Also, can you imagine the guy who put that ad together that Fussbett linked. He's sort of psyched to have the inside info on the Kinectik launch titles and then sees that a quarter of them don't have DVD slipcovers yet, and all the games are terrible. There's not enough shitty games for him to spell out a frowny face with the text-only boxes, but if he dawdles maybe fifteen more awful games will be announced, like Celebrity Big Brother and Peter Failueux's Black & White 2: The Shit-Flinging Levels.
