He puts 100% of the time and effort required to make a polished game into each one, but he's using ideas that aren't worth the effort.
Gratuitous Space Battles is pretty, but it's a defense-like game with a defense mode for people who like to play defense. Why not just make a defense variant for the browser and move on to something worth the effort? Push the browser to meet you halfway with the graphics and then move on to the next project.
See this guy? He has the right plan. A rogue-like game for people who like to play rogue. Simple idea, browser based implementation, move on to the next project. Even the people who converted one of Cliffski's games into a Sims thing made it browser-based because that's the appropriate scope for his ideas.
