Red Dead Redemption might make up for GTA4. Might. by Lizard_King 05/21/2010, 6:52pm PDT
I'm wary of first impressions with Rockstar Games, as even the shittiest (Manhunt) seemed amazing at first. But if only for resurrecting the one decent part of Oregon Trail, that part where you smoke droves of animals far in excess of any actual meat needs, RDR is ok with me. Except now the game kills your horse, on occasion. And sometimes you, if you don't keep an eye on the lead coyote.

The multiplayer has tremendous grief potential I've only begun to explore, if only because the starting costume is overweight Mexican stereotype bandido with a donkey as mount. Mule? Anyway, it was fine friendless and might be great in a group. Beware of being invited for easy ambush via the posse invite system...no friendly fire restrictions.
