| My parents are going through a hard time. My Dad refuses to get a job that's beneath him, and my Mum's been barely paying the bills as a hairdresser.
Before I left for Taiwan, I decided to send them some money. They wouldn't accept it unless I made it look like a gift, so I decided I'd call it an early birthday present "to take advantage of the favourable exchange rate" (although the exchange rate isa ctually shit right now). Outside the front of the bank, though, I backed out. I decided instead it would be better if Dad faced reality and I sent them no money. That was my excuse, but really I was just being a selfish cunt. That's how I felt later, anyway. Today I got an email from them telling me their house was broken into while they were away for the weekend. We have a dog that's a total pussy. It hates loud noises and I was always running around clapping my hands to freak it out so it would run into the other room. My family would tell me off for being cruel. She sleeps by my parents' bed. When those niggers were going through my parents' drawers, they must have seen her and decided to kick the shit out of her. Mum said her eye's all swollen and she's limping. She wouldn't have tried to attack them. What a fucking joke.  |
