ITT: cheap bastards and their cell phones by Noi Dau Don 03/15/2010, 4:31pm PDT So I'm still on a joint cell plan with the WS and right now I don't pay anything for my gay faggot Blackberry that I'm beginning to hate. AT&T is the provider and I'm not unhappy with them but. Oh my GOD do you seriously mean to tell me that this cell plan would cost $70 a month if I were actually paying for it?!?!?!?!?!? $70! That's 3 pounds of tea! That's like 5 Cloud x Sephiroth doujinshi! $70! That's my weekly ice cream budget! Jesus Christ! Caltrops, I never break 60-70 minutes of cell usage a month. I primarily use my phone for emailing pictures of cats (taken with cell phone camera) and getting mobile gmail. My feature list on a phone is: 1. Plays tetris 2. Takes, emails pictures of cats. Camera with flash helpful here. 3. Mobile gmail 4. (maybe) send and receive phone calls 5. Mobile IM would be nice, but I've lived without it this long so. 6. Mobile internet - currently I only use this to check Caltrops on the shitter. I only have a cell, no land line. I don't care about carrying over my old number, I just don't want to be on the WS's cell plan anymore. Could I get some recommendations on carriers/plans/phones, guys? Or am I being the cheapest bastard ever and I should just come to terms with The New Reality?
