| I was actually really starting to get tired of the gameplay, especially after getting killed by giant swarms of enemies and then needing to buy armor AND wait for a motorcycle delivery since you can't do gang wars without a bike. so yea everything up to the end is just more of the same, but with a bigger number of enemies to kill with your 2 other backup unit guy peoples and shit. oh and don't get the wrong impression that you go everywhere with backup and can call them whenever you want to raise hell, you are basically ordered to call for some help mid mission in very specific missions only.
one thing I do like is the story, it's actually better than gta4, there's less pretense I guess because it's a very straightforward story about being in a motorcycle club and things get fucked up and go wrong and you gotta kill everyone and then you kill the former club president by breaking into the prison with a hail of gunfire and then you burn down the club and life just kinda goes on. the characters seem more likable because they aren't niko and roman constantly going on about shit that just happened and how it relates to when niko was in "the war" etc. oh yea and you can hunt down 50 seagulls across the city now. |
