I don't know if I just haven't gotten far enough in the game where it's explained or not, but the Vita-Chambers in Bioshock are the most ridiculous gameplay element in recent memory. If there's an auto-resurrector in every room, how is it that every room is also full of dead people?

It really feels like they're like "We gave you enemies that no casual gamer could ever possibly beat (the Big Daddies), but we also make you invincible to make up for it."
