| OK, I know Caltrops haets System Shock 2, but I seem to remember we like the first one, yes?
Because Rock, Paper, Shotgun (hey, I'm liking this site a lot, by the way --sure they can be insufferable snobs from time to time, and they didn't like Fallout 3 (Yikes!! D: ) but I think it's my favorite game-reporting-about site at the moment) --Rock, Paper, Shotgun, I was saying, just brought up a mod (here) that enables mouselook in the original System Shock. Not much to add there, I guess. Me, I know this is just the kind of thing I was waiting for to finally resume my 25-year-long hiatus. Getting a hold of the game seems to be quite problematic, so if you're totally lost you could get into the wonderful, morally-grey-ish lands of the abbandonware and blame EA and/or GoG for not keeping up with the program and forcing you to this and whatnot. Dismissed! |
