I have a browser hijack on my fucking netbook and it's fucking impervious. by Noi Dau Don 01/23/2010, 5:09am PST
So - browser hijack in both Firefox and IE, ships off to various russian sites after chinese intermediary sites, also computer refuses to auto-turn-off regardless of power settings. I got BSOD on every non-safemode boot until I removed drivers for both Alcohol 120% and Daemon.

The thing that really fucking confuses me is that this is the computer with the official factory install of XP and virus protection and spyware protection and auto updates and whatnot and it gets this fucking hijack and meanwhile my desktop runs semi-naked on pirated everything and has never had a problem.

Anyway whatever the problem is it endures or is invisible through browser upgrades, AVG, S&D, AdAware, and the only anomaly I saw in HijackThis was an entry for google toolbar that persisted no fucking matter what (I've never installed google toolbar ever so... is it some kinda default or just what the fuck.)

There is a bounty on solving this problem: I have discovered the female icycalm, and I will prepare a full write-up including epic forum wank screenshots once my netbook has been rescued from his faggotry.
