| Can somebody sit through this video and tell me what is causing the frigid temps?
If somebody says "check out this review of (movie/video game/etc)" and provides a link, I don't think it's weird for me to expect that I will be able to consume that review without dropping everything I'm doing and watching somebody for the length of a video. In my opinion, the correct way to handle this situation, if your content is just so funny in video form that it cannot be captured in print, is to do what Huffington Post does and give the highlights in print at least. I don't want to watch a Jay Leno monologue, but I am interested enough in what he has to say to read the highlights for about 1 second, which is all it takes. Likewise with video game reviews. It's possible that the video is worth watching, but without some text to indicate what's in the video I am not going to stop everything to watch it. |
