I know what you're thinking, these are dedicated servers, they must cost a fortune to run. WRONG. These are the authentication servers EA makes you go through to connect to anyone else over XBL or PSN. Now you're thinking, if you have to connect through XBL or PSN anyway, why does EA even need their own authentication servers? The answer is so they can shut them down every eighteen months, thus making sure you're always enjoying the most up-to-date foosball experience possible. Only the best for EA's valued customers! |
