And scary. I might have to cross off adding a black woman to the list one day. It's too much for me, despite how hot all those interviewees looked. Except for Raven. I feel there is room for a new natural black hairstyle, some kind of corn rows 2.0. Some hot chick just has to invent it. Sharpton explaining how it's no wonder the school system is suffering when every day the kids get up and put the oppression on their heads was LOL. Also as L_K mentioned, the movie ran out of material and decided to end as an exposé of judging inconsistencies at a hairdressing competition, which was a poor choice. One aspect that really bothered me was Chris Rock positioning himself as the ignorant outsider to all this. He's just a simple white documentary filmmaker with a black nappy head daughter, trying to get some answers. He's not a multi-millionaire black man, married to a woman with straight Indian hair at all. And this is of course so he can do his Chris Rock comedy shock face all the time. "A THOUSAND DOLLARS?!" Yeah, a thousand dollars, Chris. It's the thousand dollars that shows up on your credit card bill every month. I really like how Salt-N-Pepa interact with each other. They seem nice. Black appropriation of white culture alert: Misfits logo (in gold glitter) on the back of a silky gown of the crossdressing hairdresser entourage, and one of the hot chicks wearing a "Famous" t-shirt that is a parody of the Master of Puppets album cover.
