Anything that's reliable and that I can program to automatically turn everything on and switch it to the correct inputs in a single button. RF control included would be nice, by I can just by an extender if I have to.
I've been looking into this for the past 2 days, and it has blown my mind how high-tech universal remotes can be. $500 for a remote?? LCD touchscreens? Jesus. It looked like Logitech's Harmony line had some incredible features, but apart from the insane pricing, I've seen dozens and dozens of reviews explaining how they're shitty and break within a year, and how Logitech's customer support is awful.
So what does Caltrops know about good universal remotes? Should I just pick up a $30 remote and an RF extender, or has someone been using one that is amazing? |
