First, rolling dice for success in a game with save anywhere is fucking stupid. Every time I blow a check, I feel like I should just reload my savegame and try again - and before you tell me that's ridiculous and unhealthy, remember: this is a game about picking up every coffee mug and clipboard in the greater DC area. What the fuck kind of tendencies did they expect their players to have?
Second, it seems like the most common application of Speech is to haggle for more caps. Isn't that the definition of Barter? |
