I recommend both.
I held off from getting Burnout Paradise for ages because of the negative reviews, but when I finally got it I could conclude it's the best Burnout yet. All the fun and mayhem from the previous ones, but without the need to load and shit between events. You simply continue driving and find another event. Or you can just drive around and do crazy shit. The soundtrack is horrible, as per proper Burnout protocol. People complaining that you have to keep staring at the minimap are idiots, a quick glance now and then is all that's needed.
Prey is also a great game, pretty long and lots of crazy locations, crazy weapons, crazy enemies and stuff. Portals, altered gravity, and various creepy stuff. A steal at $2.25. |
