The Richmond metal band Lamb of God has been banned from performing at the L.A. Forum April 9 because of its moniker and its former name, Burn the Priest.

The Faithful Central Bible Church owns the Forum. The church's general counsel, Marc Little, did not return a phone message, but told The Associated Press: "We do owe something to our congregants. A band formerly known as Burn the Priest caused us pause. We have to draw the line somewhere."
