Re: PS I wish these games were more spaced out over the year. :( by N 11/23/2009, 8:11pm PST The Japanese PS3 version is not region-locked, and someone I know imported it. It's also fully localized, all menus and voice in English so I don't really know why they're waiting until after the holiday shopping season? It's SEGA so they don't have a good history of cunning business decisions. I guess it's like DMC, but seemed to play more like Ninja Gaiden to me, with how the moveset went and rolling around and dodge counters and so on. The boss fights are pretty imaginative and some of the levels are remakes of old arcade games, which is great if you happen to like Spare Harrier or whatnot. One of the bosses even has a stage/form/phase/whatever that's like Tempest (but not really). It's not very long, but I guess that's the trend these days. If the current game line up wasn't as strong as it is, I'd be tempted to import it myself (even though the PS3 version is supposedly an inferior port of the 360 one), but as it is waiting until January is the only morally correct thing to do.
