It took longer than most games, about 2-4 hours, I think, depending on how you play. Once you get your own villa, the game picks up immeasurably. Not because of the villa, of course, but because all of the useless crap from before (apart from the still useless blending) becomes a part of the steady drip of in-game rewards for exploring and messing around with the free running. The platforming aspect is significantly improved in terms of how they change up the building climbing without making it frustrating. The combat is still strangely hypnotic, and I like it.
Whatever you do, do not waste time exploring at first. Once you have a villa and all of the other basics, then and only then should you bother to stray from the story path. |
