I mean about the game itself. Is anyone genuinely excited about it, or more of just "eh, it's another GTA game. I guess I have to pick it up"?
Vice City previews told of exciting changes: an 80's setting and extensive licensed soundtrack, buying local businesses, helicopters, motorcycles, golf carts, mopeds, and....ummm.....other stuff?
What San Andreas previews have revealed so far:
- A 90's setting, again.
-Drive by shootings with gang members doing the shooting for you.
-A barber shop you can get different haircuts at.
- BMX bikes (even more uncool than mopeds)
-An even greater emphasis on the pedestrian and shooting parts (oh boy)
People who aren't total fucking fags are looking forward to it, yes.
"Bitch, have a fuckin' hot dawg (HEH)"
I will enjoy this level of police pursuit.
What, you're not a John Singelton fan?
Like State of Emergency done right.
Here are some bullet points you forgot:- very early 90's setting and extensive licensed soundtrack.
- water no longer means instant death.
- countryside complete with ATVs.
- play area five times the size of Vice City.
- recruiting and building up your gang, taking over territory.
- shadows and sneaking :(
AND MOST OF ALL, WEIGHT ROLEPLAYING:
That's me after riding my BMX around and swimming in non-lethal water.
Here's your character after you gave up. |
