OR at least it feels this way. Well, no I'm pretty sure you could prove objectively that the maps in L4D2 have fewer enclosed areas and more zombies at all times.

L4D1 was challenging at first but once you got familiar with it, it became common to beat Expert mode even if you had a pick-up game with no mic support. Maybe you'd restart 1-2 times but you'd beat it.

L4D2 requires a LOT more teamwork, so I don't expect to beat expert unless I'm on a team where everyone is communicating and doing their part.
