| Maybe I didn't get far enough into it, but the beginning challenges were too simple. What cuts a tree? Well, a saw, an axe, a chainsaw, a beaver, a termite... hmm, maybe compiling lists of suitable objects isn't that much fun. There is a fun feeling when you discover that the dictionary does indeed include 'x', but that joy is tempered when 'x' behaves weirdly.
I admire the amount of items in their dictionary, though, and I like that they were trying something new. I gave it up out of frustration with the controls and confusion over certain interactions (bees kill beekeepers, humans clamor for poison, cars won't drive past a cow but will drive into a giant ice cube containing a cow, other nonsense crap). But, maybe I didn't play long enough for the game to get challenging and maybe when I give the game another shot I'll get more into it. |
