Fellow Fwonker Per Bhyring made a trip to the US earlier this year to play at some kind of dubstep festival, and so he'd have something to tell DJs about in interviews, he threw together this album in a couple of days. It's a bunch of mashups of old exotica with modern dubstep*. I am usually allergic to anything referred to as "mashup" but Per seems to have stumbled upon what might be the awesomest thing ever.
Check out track 13 first, and allow that to convince you to download the whole thing (it's all free). I've listened to this thing like ten times and I want to listen to it again right now.
*don't feel bad if you didn't know what dubstep was; apparently it's the thing that the dance producers are making now that breaks is over with I guess. This album is the best thing I have heard in the dubstep style. =| |
