It ain't no thang. Everyone knew Dubai was being too flashy with its reclaimations - throwing sand all over the place like a fucking child. Build in clumps and don't allow any waterway bigger than a canal. That's how you did it in your sandpits and that's how the Dutch do it.
They announced my teaching hours yesterday: 4 hours/week of ESP, 7 hours/week of English for dipshits. That's 11 hours/week, you poor, poor bastards! They said I'd be teaching 20 in my contract, but they haven't gotten their shit together enough to organize the other 9, so it's 11 hours/week for at least the next 6 months! I love Arabs, man. You wouldn't believe it. I haven't done a minute's work since I've been here; I don't start for another 2 weeks, I've already made $15k+, and when I do start, I'm teaching 11 hours/week! That's $208/teaching hour tax free (more than your university lecturers). Oil taxes, baby! You're paying for this shit! Go buy yourselves a SUV on credit, dipshits! I'm saving for a house! |
