so we watched the wolverine movie by Weyoun Voidbringer 09/14/2009, 9:01am PDT
is it just me, or is the idea of an immortal mutant really really stupid? no, it's not just me I am correct as usual

usually I liked wolverine when he is a gruff hardass growling one liners and stuff but his super power, especially in this movie, is fucking shit wallowingly insane. he just goes and jumps off huge heights and breaks his legs a few times and it's just like wuteva.

worst part is actually during the adamantium skeleton procedure, which looks safe enough to do on any one of us, but oh darn he dies suddenly, so they stand there like dipshits staring at him going "well I guess there are some things he CAN'T survive toodly too" without even trying to revive him, and then his heart starts up on it's own anyway wow what a tense moment huh.

I think what really ruins the character is the fact that his fighting style involves waving his claws around wildly at his sides and occasionally jumping at stuff. he's 150 years old (also really stupid and bullshit) and he didn't train under bruce lee or jackie chan or even steven seagal? did I mention he's 150 years old, making him like the ultimate forefather mary sue of mutants? disappointing

the action scenes are decent anyway, he claws up a bunch of cgi and things explode, gambit does some cool shit also
