Actually... yes 8) by Jerry Whorebach 09/04/2009, 6:33pm PDT I was in the Safeway earlier and I got the impression the cashiers weren't especially impressed with me. It made me wish the Safeway had a champion I could defeat to win their respect like in an RPG. I remember hearing that in the olden days some pubs used to have champions so it's really not that much of a stretch. Then when I got home I scratched my Safeway promotional prize ticket and it was a winner and the secret word was CHAMPION. How do you explain that?
